David C. Hoffman
D.D.S., F.A.C.S
Dr. Hoffman has been in practice since 1981 after completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital and Southwest Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and also completed a two-year NIH fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his dental school education at NYU School of Dentistry.
Lydia J. Lam
D.D.S.
Dr. Lam is well trained and highly proficient in office-based Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, and bone grafting. Having gained valuable experience during her general practice residency, she is well versed not only in the surgical arena but in the restorative aspect of dental rehabilitation as well. Since joining Staten Island Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery she has taken on numerous challenging full arch reconstruction cases and helped many patients achieve their dreams of a new smile with Teeth-in-a-Day. She is one of few providers in the tri-state area with extensive experience in providing zygomatic implants for complex dental implant rehabilitation.
Emad Abdou
D.D.S.
Dr. Emad Abdou completed a one-year general dental residency at Wyckoff Medical Center in Brooklyn, where his passion for surgery developed. Following this, he began his surgical training with a one-year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery internship at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and a four-year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Mark Goodenough
D.D.S, M.D.
Dr. Goodenough earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in addition to serving as the class Vice President. Following this, Dr. Goodenough completed an integrated six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at New York City Health and Hospitals Kings County, where in addition to his oral surgery certificate, he also received his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. During this time he had intensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, internal medicine, and surgical intensive care.
