Jessica G. Li

D.D.S.

Dr. Li is a pediatric cleft and craniofacial surgeon and a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She completed residency at Nassau University Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center and a competitive program accepting only 1 resident a year. In residency, she developed extensive skills in facial trauma, management of TMJ disorders and myofascial pain, management of complex pain disorders such as trigeminal neuralgia and complex regional pain syndrome, dentoalveolar reconstruction, and dental implantology.

Meet Jessica G. Li

She then completed an advanced subspecialty fellowship at the University at Buffalo and Oishei Children’s Hospital where she was meticulously trained in the comprehensive management of cleft and craniofacial patients with congenital differences (i.e. primary cleft lip and cleft palate repair, cleft bone graft, orthognathic surgery, neonatal airway management, pediatric facial trauma, and skull and facial reconstruction), treatment of benign pathologies with local reconstruction via tissue engineering, treatment of TMJ pathologies, and treatment of sleep apnea with maxillomandibular advancement and implanted hypoglossal nerve stimulation. During her fellowship training, she also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo and as an attending surgeon at Erie County Medical Center. She currently has hospital-based privileges at 3 hospitals in the NYC-area as well as Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

She serves as a manuscript reviewer for The Cleft Palate Craniofacial Journal and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as an Editor for the Face to Face Magazine for the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Outside of the office, Dr. Li enjoys providing surgical services through medical missions. She has traveled across the world to Bangladesh, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala to provide surgical care for patients in need and strives to continue doing this throughout her career.

In her spare time, Dr. Li enjoys traveling, fitness, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, and snuggling up with her mini golden doodle, Lido (short for Lidocaine).
