Mark Goodenough

Dr. Mark Goodenough, DDS, MD, was raised on Long Island, New York, where he attended college at Stony Brook University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry with Honors from Stony Brook University. After college, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in addition to serving as the class Vice President. Following this, Dr. Goodenough completed an integrated six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at New York City Health and Hospitals Kings County, where in addition to his oral surgery certificate, he received his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. During this time he had rigorous training in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, internal medicine, and surgical intensive care. 

Throughout his training, Dr. Goodenough also completed a one year internship in general surgery, where he gained experience in managing medically complex and critically ill patients. In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident and was selected for the Resident of the Year award in the Department of Dental and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, recognizing outstanding dedication, service, and professional excellence. 

Dr. Goodenough is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
